The fashion weeks sparked a whole new range of trends for Fall / Winter 2013-14. The one that caught my attention is the rebirth of the two classics, black and white. Yes, it can be said that these two colors never actually went out of style. I mean, what girl doesn’t have a plain white shirt, plain black pants, and blazer in her closet, right? But this year black and white dominated the runways, rocking the fashion world in amazing new combinations. We could see it from Alexander Mcqueen, where Sarah Burton brought fashion history back to life in an extravagant collection that was always romantic and fairytale inspired. Balenciaga made his debut to Alexander Wang.
So black and white are back in all their glory!
