Mid-century modern style fabrics

The customer's customer mid-century fabrics in modern style are psychiatrists in the highest category. It is a real citizen who has long wanted to buy a small country cottage near Germany. Here she could have every weekend to enjoy nature and entertain guests relatives and friends.

The house dream was found on an hour and a half drive from the capital: old wooden building beam of 70 square meters liked her from the first sight, but the interior of the building required a major upgrade.

To arrange the old cottage, the hostess came to us and said that the main task was to make the layout more functional and create a bright interior in life. Since what was almost ordered was the French style in Provence, we took the foundation.

First, we dismantled the old staircase and replaced it with a new lightweight construction and more convenient operation. Other work on the ground floor was not provided – we just adjusted the design: the small size of the kitchen is linearly placed kitchen cabinets and sets a round dining table as it can comfortably accommodate several people.

As for the second floor, we managed to organize a room – an office: "cut-off" from the existing two rooms on the trapezoidal fragment, we combined them into one separate space. The work on the conversion was not difficult: we created a single metal frame and then wrapped it from two parties with a few layers of drywall.

Glossy amber flooring

The project was made under common sense. In a given style adapted to the existing interior, we were limited to painting the walls in white matt color, which has created a winning contrast with a glossy amber colored floors.

We have also updated the trim plate in front of the chimney: ceramic tiles with an original ornament have been accentuated in the interior.
On the ground floor we have created a storage room for your seasonal clothing under the stairs. In the kitchen for utensils and appliances, a comfortable kitchen from IKEA.

On the second level, mid-century fabrics in modern style, the facades on the roof there were already built – we just upgraded the filling.
